Job summary

Russ Darrow Metro Honda in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. You will schedule service work, collect vehicle information, and clearly communicate symptoms to customers to ensure accurate repairs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in automobile service write-ups.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers promptly
• Obtaining customer and vehicle information
• Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explaining all completed work and charges to customers

Summary

The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer-relations and service representative.
