Job summary

Alloy Automotive Partners in Katy, TX, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to manage a busy service drive with dealership-level facilities and strong earning potential.

You will build trust with customers, present repair recommendations, and coordinate with technicians and parts to deliver timely, quality service while advancing across our expanding group.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of proven Service Advisor experience at a dealership or established independent shop.
• Experience with Tekmetric or similar shop management system is preferred.
• European automotive experience is strongly preferred.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer experience from check-in to vehicle delivery.
• Build lasting relationships through honest recommendations and proactive communication.
• Review inspection results and present maintenance and repair options.
• Create accurate estimates and explain priorities, pricing, timelines, warranties, and financing options.
• Achieve targets for sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain complete repair orders including authorizations and payments.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts team to keep work moving.
• Provide timely status updates to customers.

Location: Katy, TX

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 OTE, based on experience and performance

Pay Structure: Base salary plus commission

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Service Advisor for our Katy location. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already knows how to manage a busy service drive, build trust with customers, confidently present repair recommendations, and consistently produce strong results.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the customer experience from initial check-in through vehicle delivery.
• Build lasting customer relationships through honest recommendations, proactive communication, and dependable follow-through.
• Review inspection results and confidently present maintenance and repair recommendations.
• Create accurate estimates and explain repair priorities, pricing, timelines, warranties, and financing options.
• Consistently achieve performance goals related to sales, gross profit, average repair order, closing ratio, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain complete and accurate repair orders, including customer authorizations, service contracts, deposits, and payment information.
• Coordinate closely with technicians and the parts team to keep work moving efficiently.
• Provide customers with timely updates regarding vehicle status, additional findings, pricing changes, or delays.
• Use Tekmetric and other shop systems to manage repair orders, customer communication, financing, and payments.
• Take ownership of challenges and help create solutions that support the customer, the team, and the shop.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3–5 years of successful Service Advisor experience at a dealership or established independent automotive repair shop.
• A proven record of producing strong sales, gross profit, average repair order, closing ratio, and customer satisfaction results.
• Experience managing a high-volume workload without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.
• Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to clearly explain maintenance and repair recommendations.
• A confident, consultative sales approach focused on helping customers make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
• The ability to remain composed, accountable, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Tekmetric or a similar shop management system is preferred.
• European automotive experience is strongly preferred.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, experience, and the applicable compensation plan.

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working in a fast-paced automotive environment. The employee must also be able to safely move or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds when needed.
