Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of work order information (model, serial number).
  • Continually updates and verifies shop log and master schedule.
  • Tracks work order status and timelines.
  • Coordinates pick-up/delivery of units and subletting with correct information.
  • Communicates with maintenance and shop staff to ensure smooth operations.

Shop Service Advisor

Job Summary

The Shop Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting in processing work orders & haul tickets, log shop activities, and coordinate repairs, status of job, and delivery back to the customer This position is an important member of the Shop Team and requires excellent customer service, great attitude, and the ability to communicate with internal and external customers.

Essential Functions
  • Creates work orders (shop services, planned maintenance, and warranty)
  • Ensure accuracy of work order information (model, serial number)
  • Continually updates and verifies shop log and master schedule
  • Tracks work order status
  • Coordinates pick-up/delivery of unit
  • Manage shop subletting; delivery & return with correct information
  • Coordinates with Mark Salas on the building maintenance of shop
  • Ensure sufficient supply of gas and diesel
  • Manage tool tagging and communicate with fixed assets
  • Check-out tools to technicians and track until returned
  • Issue and track supplies/tools to technicians
  • Track inventory and replenish when necessary
  • Order supplies from vendors
  • Post all timecards for shop technicians
  • Any other duties assigned by the company
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2yrs minimum experience in a heavy equipment, automotive or forklift environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mentality
  • Able to meet deadlines and highly detail oriented
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
