Munder Financial is seeking a relationship-driven Service Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for an established client base. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience through proactive communication, ongoing financial planning support, and personalized service.
The Service Advisor works closely with clients, advisors, and internal support teams to ensure financial planning recommendations are implemented, service needs are addressed, and client relationships continue to grow. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and passionate about helping individuals and families achieve financial confidence.
This role follows a structured development path designed to build deep expertise in financial planning, client relationship management, and advisory services. New Service Advisors can expect a comprehensive training and transition period of up to two years, during which they will work closely with senior advisors and team members to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to independently manage client relationships and provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for assigned clients.
- Conduct annual reviews and ongoing client meetings in accordance with the firm's service model.
- Monitor client situations for life events, changing financial needs, and planning opportunities.
- Identify planning gaps, risk exposures, and additional coverage needs.
- Ensure financial planning recommendations are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and complete client service requests with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
- Guide clients through onboarding, account changes, and other transitions.
- Partner with Advisors and Operations Team members to deliver seamless and consistent client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records, meeting notes, and CRM data.
- Build long‑term, trust‑based relationships through proactive communication and service.
- Support client retention efforts and identify opportunities to strengthen and expand client relationships.
- Participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and firm initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, banking, or a client relationship management role preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
