Job summary

Porsche Audi Volkswagen of Anchorage, part of Swickard Auto Group, seeks a Service Advisor for the Volkswagen service drive. VW experience is a plus, though training will be provided. Join a close-knit team in Anchorage and help build guest loyalty through exceptional hospitality and clear communication.

Candidate should be customer-focused, organized, and ready to grow earnings in a high-volume, multi-brand dealership environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Service advisor experience preferred, not required; hospitality, sales, or guest-facing backgrounds encouraged.
• VW/European brand experience is a strong plus; familiarity with VW service processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Volkswagen service guests from write-up to delivery.
• Translate repair information into clear communication to earn trust.
• Build estimates, set realistic timelines, and follow through with guests.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repairs moving.
• Identify and present additional service recommendations for safety and performance.
• Deliver a professional pickup/delivery experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and ensure compliance.
• Represent the store and three European brands with hospitality standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Volkswagen service guests -- from write-up through delivery -- with a standard that reflects the brand and the store
• Translate technical repair information into clear, confident communication that earns trust and sets accurate expectations
• Build precise estimates, commit to realistic timelines, and follow through on every promise made to the guest
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance
• Deliver a consistent, professional pickup and delivery experience that keeps guests coming back
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold all documentation and compliance standards
• Represent Porsche Audi Volkswagen of Anchorage and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Service advisor experience preferred -- not required. Hospitality, sales, retail, or other guest-facing backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
• Volkswagen or European brand experience a strong plus -- familiarity with VW service processes and systems is an advantage we'll build on
• Clear, composed communicator -- able to explain service needs in plain language and follow through without gaps
• Organized and accurate under the pace of a busy multi-brand service operation
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to serve people well and grow your earnings
• Comfortable learning DMS platforms and VW service processes -- we'll train you from day one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset -- in Anchorage, the people you serve are your neighbors, and they remember how you treated them
