Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Network Planning Engineer for a Melbourne, FL engagement. The role is full-time, 12 months with possible extension, on-site in Melbourne, FL, and requires strong WAN, Ethernet and IP expertise, as well as network testing, documentation and Cisco design experience.

The ideal candidate holds a 4+ year degree (AA/AS or BA/BS) and MEF 2.0 or CCNA credentials are a plus; W-2 eligibility is required. Pay range is $45–$48 per hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree with 4+ years' experience (Willing to look at work experience in lieu of a degree)
• BA/BS Degree with 4+ years' experience Preferred
• MEF 2.0 certification and/or equivalent level experience
• CCNA Certification or equivalent work experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Previous Telecommunications, testing/troubleshooting and validation of service activations
• 2 years of prior WAN Telecommunications networks
• Experience with Ethernet and IP
• Experience coordinating maintenance request activities
• Knowledge of data protocols that include TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS
• Previous technical writing background/skills to Execute and document formal acceptance testing of FTI products and services per program requirements
• Prior experience with Sonet architecture

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Network Planning Engineer Position Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: 12 months + Possible Extension Location: Melbourne, FL

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

As a Network Planning Engineer ,you will:

• Previous Telecommunications, testing/troubleshooting and validation of service activations
• 2 years of prior WAN Telecommunications networks
• Experience with Ethernet and IP
• Experience coordinating maitenance request activities
• Knowledge of data protocols that include TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS
