Job summary

St. Ann’s Community on the Webster Campus is seeking part-time Wait Staff to serve meals to residents in a friendly, safe, and clean environment. You will set up and clear tables, take orders, and deliver full courses with professional service.

The role offers a pay range of $16–$19.65 per hour, part-time hours, and opportunities including tuition assistance and career growth. Availability on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and cleaning tables following station guidelines and dining room service standards.
• Completely serve all tables with full course in a professional, friendly and timely manner.
• Speak to residents and participants in a pleasant tone and respect rights of all residents and coworkers.
• Communicate emergencies, health status, concerns, or behavior problems to Captain or Food Service Director.
• Take orders accurately and relay to cooks to ensure proper preparation and minimize waste.
• Assist coworkers with all steps of service to ensure Quality Assurance standards.
• Attend scheduled department meetings and read memos posted in the department.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and participants.

Job Description:

• Setting up and cleaning tables, following station guidelines and maintains all dining room service standards
• Completely servers all tables with full course in a professional, friendly and timely manner
• Speaks to resident and participants in a pleasant tone and respects the rights of all residents and coworkers
• Communicates emergencies, health status, concerns, behavior problems of residents to Host/Hostess
• Properly takes order and communicates orders to cooks to assure proper preparation and elimination of potential waste
• Assists coworkers with all steps of service to ensure Quality Assurance standards
• Receives and communicates concerns of residents to Captain and or Food service director
• Attends all scheduled department meetings and reads and adheres to all memos posted in the department
• Ensures great customer service is provided to residents and participants

Candidate Requirements:

• High School and GED Preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 months of previous customer service experience
