Job summary

St. Ann’s Community is hiring waitstaff for per diem shifts on our Irondequoit Campus to serve meals in a friendly, safe, and clean atmosphere. This role requires setting up and clearing tables, taking orders, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and participants.

Salary range is $16.00 - $19.15/hr. Per diem position with weekly pay, paid sick leave, and additional benefits such as bus pass and discounted diaper programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months of previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and cleaning tables, following station guidelines and maintaining dining room service standards.
• Completely serve all tables with full course in a professional, friendly and timely manner.
• Speak to residents and participants in a pleasant tone and respect rights of all residents and coworkers.
• Communicate emergencies, health status, concerns, or behavior problems of residents to Host/Hostess.
• Take orders accurately and communicate orders to cooks to ensure proper preparation and minimize waste.
• Assist coworkers with all steps of service to ensure quality assurance.
• Receive and communicate residents' concerns to Captain or Food Service Director.
• Attend scheduled department meetings and follow memos posted in the department.
• Ensure great customer service is provided to residents and participants.
