Job summary

Servers will perform full table service, upsell menu items, and handle beer, wine and cocktails as needed. Please note lifting, standing for hours, and outdoor work during summer months are expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Jonas POS is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Full table service including menu suggestions, upselling, delivery of food, and check settlement.

Job Description: Servers

Brookside Country Club in Macungie, PA is looking for friendly, knowledgeable, service-oriented restaurant servers with a passion for hospitality to join our team.

Servers are responsible for selling and serving food and beverages using their knowledge, hospitality and service skills. A knowledge of wines, liquor and cocktails is a plus.

Key Requirements:

• A gracious, friendly, and helpful attitude towards members and guests
• Efficient communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment
• Flexible schedule with full availability on nights, weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with Jonas POS is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to lift items weighing between 5-50lbs
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours + during a shift
• Ability to work outdoors in the summer months, without any immediate issues to heat

Responsibilities:

Physical Setting: Fine dining restaurant, Banquet Events

Schedule:

• Tuesday - Sunday
• Availability to work Monday Golf Outings if required

Pay:

• Service Charge from tickets paid out in tips, in bi-weekly paychecks

Experience:

• Country Club / Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
