Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking engineers to help define the future of serverless compute and analytics. You will design, build, test, and deploy high-performance distributed systems that power Amazon Athena and related services.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, learn domain expertise in serverless orchestration, multi-tenant isolation and scale. The role includes mentoring, hands-on work, and significant impact on AWS customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy large-scale production systems.
• Deliver high-performance distributed software and services with a significant bottom-line impact.
• Mentor engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues.
• Contribute to platform services underpinning AWS analytics offerings.
