Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a senior software engineer to help build a new generic serverless platform using the latest AWS technologies.

You will design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant components and collaborate with teams across the company. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional software development and experience in architecture and design patterns, plus strong programming skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Work with team to build the new generic platform using latest AWS technologies.
• Solve technical challenges with creative ideas in event-driven and serverless domains.
• Build features for large-scale distributed systems handling billions or trillions of transactions.
• Re-shape the Serverless development experience.
