Delaware North is hiring seasonal servers at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

This tipped position offers a base hourly pay of $16.95 with additional earning potential from tips, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Delaware North nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Beneficial to have 1 year of server experience in a high-volume environment.
• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, communicate specials, answer questions, and take orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly per policies.
• Enter orders into the POS and process payments, deliver checks.
• Collaborate with other servers, kitchen and bar staff.
• Open/close, clean, and perform side work to keep spaces clean and organized.

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Servers to join our team at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. If you are a dedicated Server, ready to represent our restaurant, be the epitome of excellent service, and provide guests with a memorable dining experience that will keep them coming back for more

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$16.95 - $16.95 / hour

What will you do?

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus, clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders


• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures


• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests


• Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff


• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old


• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing


• Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment


• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs


• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
