Job summary

The Northbridge Companies in Farmington, CT is seeking a Server / Waitstaff for a full-time evening shift (11am–7pm) to ensure residents enjoy meals and great service. You will work closely with our Culinary Director to deliver dishes smoothly from kitchen to table, creating memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in service is welcomed but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Check dishes for presentation before serving to residents.
• Engage residents with the daily menu and share information kindly.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and safe, following guidelines.
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Reset the dining room after each meal and ensure it looks welcoming.

Server / Waitstaff Job Summary

Your job as a Server / Waitstaff is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities:

• Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

Qualifications:

• It's cool if you've worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
• Be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
