Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Server / Waitstaff for our senior Living community in Maine. Full & Part-time positions include weekends and holidays, with a focus on friendly, attentive service that makes residents feel at home.

As a Server, you’ll work closely with the Culinary Director to ensure meals are delivered smoothly from kitchen to table, uphold safety standards, and provide exceptional guest experiences in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, we will teach if you’re excited to learn.
• Be friendly and approachable to make guests feel welcome.
• Stay positive, especially when busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Check that dishes look perfect before serving to residents.
• Talk to residents, share the daily menu, and ensure they are happy.
• Keep the dining room and kitchen clean and follow food-safety rules.
• Clearly communicate any special requests to the kitchen.
• After each meal, reset the Dining Room and maintain its appearance.

Server / Waitstaff Job Summary

Your job as a Server / Waitstaff is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table. Prior customer service or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

• It's cool if you've worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
