Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Server/Waitstaff for the Plymouth, MA area to support our senior living dining services. You will work closely with our Culinary Director to deliver warm, attentive service and ensure meals move smoothly from kitchen to table for residents.

We offer flexible, part-time evening shifts (4pm–7pm) with opportunities for training and growth in a caring, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous server or food-service experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Greet residents warmly, guide them through the daily menu and specials.
• Keep dining areas clean and safe, and handle requests with care.
• Criminal background screening is required.
• Available for 4pm–7pm shifts, 12–15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Check dishes for presentation before serving to residents.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas and follow safety rules.
• Communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Reset the dining room after service and ensure a welcoming environment.

Server / Waitstaff Job Summary

Your job as a Server / Waitstaff is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities:

• Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

Qualifications:

• It's cool if you've worked in a restaurant or with customers before, but we'll teach you if you're excited to learn.
• Be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
