Extra Wavy is hiring servers in Lafayette Square / Downtown West. This is a new, locally owned restaurant opening in September 2025, offering a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment with a strong emphasis on guest service.

Qualifications

• Must have a great attitude and work ethic with co-workers.

• Able to work nights and weekends (dinner Tue–Sat, Saturday brunch).
• Proven experience as a Server/Waiter/Waitress in a fast-paced, quality food environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus; rum and cocktails a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders promptly and accurately.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions knowledgeably.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Check on customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.

Now Hiring - Servers at Extra Wavy in Lafayette Square / Downtown West neighborhood. Extra Wavy is a new, locally owned restaurant opening in September 2025. It is a raw bar and American restaurant with nods to east coast oyster bar and fish houses, with many coastal influences and ingredients.

We are looking for experienced, hard‑working, team‑oriented servers. The right person will be able to work in a fast‑paced team environment while still focusing on hospitality and customer service. We offer health insurance, dental and life insurance, and other benefits to full‑time employees.

Requirements

• A person with a great attitude and work ethic, and gets along with co‑workers
• Must be friendly and focused on hospitality towards guests
• Must be available to work nights (dinner shifts) and weekends: we are open for dinner Tues‑Sat nights, and Saturday brunch
• Proven experience as a Server / Waiter / Waitress in a fast‑paced, high‑quality food environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus (rum and classic cocktail knowledge is a plus)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Nights and weekend availability are required.
