Job summary

Farina Hospitality in Valparaiso, IN is seeking professional and personable Restaurant Servers to be the face of our dining room, delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced upscale setting.

You will prepare tables, present menus, describe items, take orders, and guide guests on wine pairings while collaborating with kitchen and bar teams. The role offers both full-time and part-time evening shifts, with in-person work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Upscale, newly remodeled dining establishment, looking for professional and personable Restaurant Servers. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and set to company specifications when guests arrive, presenting menus, describing special menu items and detailing items on the regular menu. Serving food and beverages should be done with attention to courtesy and detail. If you enjoy creating the ultimate dining experience and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus, describe in detail regular menu items and specials, and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary wine and other beverage or food items.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff to create a strong team environment.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude, always recognizing the customers needs and knowing when to good to your manager for solutions,
• Issue bills and accept payment
