Job summary

FAIRMONT in Chicago is seeking a Server to deliver warm, attentive service in a fast-paced luxury setting. You will greet guests, explain menu items, and uphold brand standards while collaborating with a professional team.

The role requires knowledge of beverages, wine and beer, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. A flexible schedule including weekends is required; tips are earned through exceptional guest care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server in high volume food and beverage operation.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation.
• Previous point of sale system experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be available to work flexible shifts including AM, PM, evenings and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Salary expectations: $13.66 , tip eligible position.
