Job summary

Bru Cincy is seeking a Server for BRU Burger Bar in Cincinnati, OH. This role can be full-time or part-time and focuses on delivering outstanding guest service, handling orders accurately, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, inputting them into the POS, upselling daily specials, and coordinating with kitchen staff to meet dietary needs and service standards. Priorserve inclines in tips and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Input orders into the restaurant's POS system.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.
• Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established presentation standards.
• Monitor guests' needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide additional items as requested.
• Set up and clean tables before and after guest use.
• Ensure dining area is clean and properly stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist in dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers for smooth operations.
• Communicate guest feedback and special requests to the team.
