Job summary

CRG Dining - BRU Bloomington is seeking a friendly Host to be the first contact for guests at BRU Burger Bar in Bloomington, IN. You will greet guests, manage the waitlist and reservations, and help guests feel welcome.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong organization, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, and on-site hospitality hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and seat them promptly while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Manage the waitlist and reservations, estimating wait times and guiding guests.
• Provide information on menus, specials, and promotions as needed.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Keep the host stand and waiting area organized and stocked.
