Job summary

The Kling House Restaurant at Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA is hiring a part-time server. You will take guest orders, provide warm, attentive service, and help guests enjoy their visit to the Village.

Open for lunch with daytime hours; evenings and Sundays are closed. A 20% employee discount on Kitchen Kettle Foods and Burnley Enterprise shops, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for learning and development are offered. Prior restaurant serving experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Properly and professionally take guest’s orders, with suggestive selling
• Maintain a working knowledge of the POS system
• Expedite food when required
• Follow the steps of service
• Fully knowledgeable of all cooking techniques and products offered at the Kling House
• Clear, clean, and reset tables
• Maintain a clean and pressed uniform as dictated by management
• Provide and maintain a daily “server bank”
• Settle guest checks
• Side work and cleaning.
• Assist guests needing directions to Village Shops and local attractions
• Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as needed
• Adhere to the restaurant’s sanitation and safety standards
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
