The Kling House Restaurant at Kitchen Kettle Village is seeking a part-time server. You will take guest orders, uphold excellent service standards, and assist guests with directions around the Village. The role emphasizes friendly, attentive service and adherence to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guests' orders professionally and upsell where appropriate.

• Clear and reset tables; keep uniform clean and pressed.
• Provide daily server bank; settle guest checks; perform side work.

Essential Functions

• Properly and professionally take guests’ orders and suggestive selling
• Maintain a working knowledge of the POS system
• Expedite food when required
• Follow the steps of service
• Be fully knowledgeable of all cooking techniques and products offered at the Kling House
• Clear, clean, and reset tables
• Maintain a clean and pressed uniform as dictated by management
• Provide and maintain a daily “server bank”
• Settle guest checks
• Perform side work and cleaning as required
• Assist guests needing directions to Village Shops and local attractions
• Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as needed
• Adhere to the restaurant’s sanitation and safety standards
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Kitchen Kettle Village is closed in the evenings and on Sundays. This position requires availability for weekday daytime shifts, Saturdays, and occasional Saturday mornings beginning at 7:30 a.m. Expect 15-30 hours per week.
