Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a Server Systems Engineer II to plan, install, configure, and maintain our server infrastructure and storage systems. You will lead projects, document configurations, and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a BS in CS or related field, 5+ years in technology support/administration, strong AD, Exchange, and VMware experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Math, or related field required.
• MCITP, MCSE, VCP, or Linux certs or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead installation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance of servers and storage systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and research technology trends.
• Provide support to department personnel and resolve critical issues.
• Document configurations and maintain system records.
