Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area is required, or five years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Three years of increasing experience in server administration, systems management, hypervisor administration, and network management.
• Experience troubleshooting server hardware and software problems.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Oracle Linux.

Responsibilities

• Manage server administration and daily operations of the university's server infrastructure.
• Perform upgrades, installation, and troubleshooting of server hardware, software, and applications.
• Provide Epic ECSA Web and Service Systems and/or ODB support related to installs and troubleshooting.
• Participate in medium-to-large server projects and rotate on-call duties to ensure 24x7x365 availability.
