Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Sewickley Campus - is immediately hiring a Server - Retirement Living. Full-time or part-time roles available with day/evening shifts. Pay starts at $15.34/hr plus $1/hr evening and $1/hr weekend differentials, plus a scholarship program and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Willingness to receive on-the-job training.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides an enjoyable dining experience for residents while maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Reports any environmental situation that could threaten safety or well-being of residents.
• Completes meal service duties in a courteous and timely manner as directed by supervisor and dietary policies.
• Sets dining room to include table layout, place setting, and centerpiece while knowing table assignments and locations.
• Uses cleaning agents and equipment safely to meet food safety regulations.
• Handles, stores, and serves food following proper hygiene practices, dating, labeling, and rotation.

Part Time | Days (11:30am - 3:30pm) or Evenings (4pm - 8pm)

Pay: Starting at $15.34/hr PLUS

As a Server - Retirement Living you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing the highest degree of dining services to the residents.

The Server - Retirement Living is responsible for the following:

• Provides an enjoyable dining experience for our residents while maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Reports upon first notice any environmental situation which could pose a threat to the safety or well-being of the Masonic Village Residents.
• Completes meal service duties in a courteous and timely manner as assigned by supervisor in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
• Sets dining room to include table layout, place setting, and centerpiece while demonstrating knowledge of table assignments, table numbers, and locations.
• Uses chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment safely and effectively to accomplish assigned tasks in accordance with food safety regulations established by federal, state, local and private accreditation organizations.
• Uses best practices related to the safe and sanitary handling, preparation, storage, and service of foods, including proper hand washing, wearing gloves, changing gloves frequently, maintaining a clean uniform, sanitizing work surfaces and tools between uses, proper dating, labeling, and rotation of food products.
