Job summary

Eataly in Los Angeles is seeking a Server to coordinate the service station and deliver a guest-centric dining experience onsite. You will greet guests, present menus, and relay orders to kitchen and bar while working with hosts and staff to ensure smooth service.

This seasonal position runs about three months with potential for growth. Pay is $18.42 per hour plus tips, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, parental leave, 401K with match, free family meals daily, and

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies.
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
• Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations.
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests.
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware.
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Job Description

A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front of the house and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation: Pay range is set at $18.42 an hour plus tips (Tip Pool).
