Job summary

Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace. A Server coordinates the service station and communicates with front of house and back of house to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies.
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
• Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations.
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests.
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware.
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Job Description

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensation: This position pays a base rate of $17.00 per hour, minus a $5.65 tip credit plus tips.
