Job summary

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn in Lambertville, NJ, part of Genesis Hospitality, seeks an experienced, team-oriented Part-time Server. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required. You will be the face of the restaurant, delivering warm, efficient service and building rapport with guests.

Responsibilities include orchestrating service at a station, mastering menu and beverage knowledge, and aligning with the venue's service standards and philosophy.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail, multitasking and time management skills.

• Responsible for orchestrating the food and beverage service for a station of tables and being the face of the establishment.
• Ability to develop rapport with guests, and offer a warm, efficient, and thoughtful service.
• Must possess a commanding knowledge and passion about food, wine, spirits, and service in general.
• Ability to execute the restaurant's vision and philosophy.
• Ability to improvise and make impromptu decisions in accordance with the cycle of service and the restaurant's policies and standards.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years fine dining restaurant experience preferred

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time management skills
• Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds
• Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.
• May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing
