Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE is seeking friendly Servers to join our culinary team on a part-time evening schedule. You will provide attentive dining service, greet residents, take orders, and help maintain a warm, safe eating environment.

As a Server, you’ll follow diets and textures, use tablet ordering, and collaborate with staff to deliver meals and clear tables. Prior hospitality or healthcare dining experience is helpful but not required.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Servers to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

Hillcrest Health & Rehab provides skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care in a supportive environment focused on helping residents and guests recover, maintain independence, and feel comfortable and cared for.

What You’ll Do

As a Server, you will work closely with residents, guests, and the culinary team to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized dining service.

You will:

• Greet residents and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Take meal orders tableside using an iPad or other ordering system.
• Ensure meal selections follow prescribed diets and texture requirements.
• Learn the menu and assist residents and guests with questions about available selections.
• Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Help create a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
• Set up and reset dining-room tables before and after meal service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.
• Clean and sanitize dining-room and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Assist with dishes, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, and other food-service equipment.
• Maintain appropriate dining-room supplies and par levels for service.
• Complete required food-service temperature logs before and after meal service.
• Ensure food items are properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated.
• Follow established food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Assist with additional culinary responsibilities as needed.
• Jump in wherever needed to help meal service run smoothly.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, serving, dining-room, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare or senior living dining experience helpful but not required.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Must be flexible and calm when responding to resident, guest, family, or team needs.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively.
• Must follow established food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
• Other duties as assigned.
