Jazz – A Louisiana Kitchen in Columbia, MO is hiring servers to greet guests, take orders, and deliver prompt, attentive service in a lively, music-filled setting. You’ll guide guests through our Cajun and Creole menu, handle payments, and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person.
• Excellent hospitality and ability to guide guests through menu items.
• Reliable, energetic and able to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome and genuine hospitality.
• Accurately take orders, answer menu questions, and recommend our signature Cajun and Creole dishes.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining excellent table service.
• Handle guest payments, process transactions, and resolve any concerns with a positive attitude.
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and ready for the next guests.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.

• Outgoing, friendly, and personable with a warm, caring demeanor
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
• Team player who supports colleagues and creates exceptional guest experiences
• Comfortable recommending menu items and handling a variety of guest requests
