Job Summary

The Beverage Server is responsible for providing gracious, kind, and warm service that creates a sense of fondness, Old‑World Hospitality and Charm for casino guests. The Server maintains a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with food service sanitation codes, possesses extensive menu knowledge, takes guest orders, anticipates needs, delivers orders, and processes payments. Focus on departmental goals: consistency, quality, and sense of urgency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prompt, efficient, and friendly service of drinks ordered
• Input each order accurately into the Point‑of‑Sale system
• Complete alcohol awareness training and practice all policies and procedures
• Prepare drink set‑ups and garnish properly

Required Skills and Abilities

• Accurately calculate figures and perform mathematical functions
• Interpret and follow various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
• Be flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
• Be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, capable of pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 25 lb
• Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas, including confined spaces

Education and Experience

Minimum 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent. Prior food or beverage service experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, regulations, business periodicals, and correspondence. Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

• Take steps to prevent minors from gambling or accessing restricted areas or purchasing tobacco and alcoholic beverages

• Know the property’s programs addressing problem gambling
• Consult with appropriate individuals and maintain effective written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with state regulations and internal controls
