Job summary

Salt Lake City Marriott University Park is seeking a guest services associate to warmly greet guests, seat patrons, and assist with dining service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations while maintaining cash handling procedures. Must be 21+ to serve alcohol and adhere to safety and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience is required.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
• Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of guests and co-workers.

Requirements

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including Days/Evenings/Weekends and/or Holidays.
• Shift usually consists of 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol.
• Must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment.
