Job summary

The Little America Hotel Salt Lake City is seeking a part-time cocktail/buffet server for evenings and weekends to deliver exceptional service in our dining outlets.

You will take orders, serve food and drinks, handle payments, maintain clean tables, and assist with opening/closing duties. Ability to stand long hours and lift items up to 25 pounds is required. Responsibilities

• Interacting with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them food and drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with whatever they need in a timely manner.
• Handling multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner.
• Cleaning and clearing tables.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as preparing ingredients and restocking items, such as straws, napkins, etc.
• Taking inventory of supplies and ingredients.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees and fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate.

Join us at Little America Hotel as a cocktail/buffet server. This is a part-time PM position. You'll enjoy perks such as free uniform dry cleaning, free parking, and amazing hotel discounts across all our properties from day one! Candidates must be available weekends and holidays.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them food and drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with whatever they need in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dining area for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays, food, and beverage orders (up to 25 pounds).
• Ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to serve guests and retrieve items from shelves or storage areas.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment with high noise levels.
• Good physical stamina and mobility to efficiently serve a high volume of customers throughout shifts.
