Job summary

The Greystone Inn in Lake Toxaway, NC is seeking a friendly Server to deliver fresh, seasonal cuisine with a positive attitude. You will take orders, deliver food, maintain tables, and ensure guest satisfaction in a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, eager to learn, and able to thrive during busy shifts while sharing knowledge about our menu to wow guests. You may open and close duties as assigned and assist in keeping steps accessible, sometimes lifting up to 15 lbs,

Qualifications

• Be friendly and smiling.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued.
• Having a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus, making suggestions and describing dishes to guests.
• Taking orders, delivering food, overseeing table maintenance, and monitoring guest satisfaction.

The Position

Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. As a Server at The Greystone Inn, you are providing our guests with fresh, seasonal cuisine. If you are reliable, eager-to-learn, with a friendly/positive attitude, you will be very successful in “wowâ€ing our guests.
