BIGHORN Golf Club in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a friendly Pour House Server for part-time seasonal shifts. You will provide attentive, professional service to Members and guests, knowledge of menu items, and accurate order entry in the POS.

You’ll help maintain a welcoming dining environment, upsell thoughtfully, and support teammates during peak periods. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 12 months of serving experience in a high-volume setting, strong communication

# SERVER - Part-time SeasonalHot JobBIGHORN Golf Club - PALM DESERT, CA 92260## OverviewSalary Range$17.50 - $17.50 Commission## Description**POSITION OVERVIEW**The Server provides exceptional service to Members and guests in a professional and engaging manner, ensuring an outstanding dining experience throughout all meal periods. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations while maintaining the Club’s service standards. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following:* Maintain a welcoming, professional, and friendly demeanor at all times; address Members by name and appropriate title.* Uphold a “Members First” mentality in every interaction.* Attend and participate in pre-shift meetings.* Ensure all orders are accurate and confirmed with guests prior to entering them into the POS.* Accurately input orders into the POS system and communicate special requests to the Back-of-House (BOH) team.* Demonstrate in-depth menu knowledge, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.* Maintain understanding of meal pacing and timing to coordinate service flow.* Exhibit basic cocktail, wine, and beverage knowledge, including proper wine service.* Provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance the dining experience and utilize suggestive selling techniques appropriately.* Prepare side stations and service items prior to the start of each shift; assist in setup and breakdown of dining areas.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and side stations throughout the shift.* Assist teammates and other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.* Proactively identify and address guest needs or potential service issues; escalate concerns promptly to management.* Attend all required meetings and trainings.* **Leadership:** Maintain a positive and professional attitude while promoting BIGHORN values and departmental objectives.* **Teamwork**: Encourage cooperation, communication, and mutual support among team members.* **Safety:** Comply with all established safe work practices and attend required safety training.* Perform other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
