Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a friendly Server for our hospital dining program in Madera, CA. This part-time role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient- and guest-centered service in a healthcare setting.

You will take meal orders, serve meals accurately, maintain clean dining areas, and support kitchen and service teams. Compensation is $24 per hour with open interview schedule and opportunities for growth; eligibility for benefits via company plan as applicable.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Previous food service or hospitality experience (preferred).
• Experience with one-on-one customer service interaction.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• A respectful and compassionate attitude toward others.
• A willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team.
• ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card.
• The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Job Summary

Physical and Sensory Requirements

• This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
