Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is hiring a hotel server in Temple, TX to greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure accuracy and dietary considerations in a fast-paced hotel setting.

You will support other servers, prep and bus tables, maintain cleanliness, follow safety standards, and collaborate with all departments. A high school diploma and 1 year hotel/banquet experience are required; flexible shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in hotels, banquets, or events.
• Additional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Greet the guest and take all food and beverage orders.
• Ensure all orders are accurate with requests and substitutions.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients with relation to common dietary restrictions.
• Pre and post bus tables in assigned station.
• Responsible for receiving all payments accurately and timely.
• Performing necessary opening/closing and side work duties.
• Prepare food items for guests such including appetizers, sides and desserts.
• Assist other servers with their tables.
• Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par.
• Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
• Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
