Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas in Cornelius, NC is seeking a part-time Server to join our marina dining team. You will greet guests, seat them, take and deliver orders, and help ensure a seamless dining experience near the water.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in orders, and timely payment processing. You will work with a team of hospitality professionals and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for members and guests.

The Waitstaff is responsible for preparing tables, greeting and seating customers, taking and delivering orders, as well as processing payment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed
• Take accurate food and drink orders
• Deliver food and drinks to guests and be attentive to all of our guests and their needs
• Process payments efficiently and accurately
• Ensure guests are satisfied and have an exceptional dining experience
• Available to work overtime when required
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

• Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.
• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Technical and Physical Requirements

• Customer Service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Any skills considered standard that a Server should possess
