Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a server to ensure guests are served to the highest hospitality standards in our restaurant and food and beverage areas. The role involves delivering items, maintaining room cleanliness, and attentively responding to guest needs, including desserts and drinks, while upholding responsible gaming and alcohol service policies.

Ideal candidates have prior serving experience, excellent communication, and a professional, energetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items, replenish utensils, and manage course flow as needed.

• Notify senior management or Ethics Hotline of any illegal acts or ethics violations.
• Support supervisor with other duties as assigned.

Job description

Overview

Ensure that all guests are served to the Golden standard in the Restaurant. Display highest standards of hospitality and welcome are always demonstrated within all food and beverage areas.

Responsibilities

• The exhibit is conducted in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Perform cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Assist in ensuring cleanliness of the dining room during service.
• Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
• Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
• Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
