Kal Group dba Rodizio Grill – Hamilton Place in Chattanooga, TN is seeking dependable Gauchos to join our front-of-house team. Gauchos carve and serve signature rotisserie meats tableside, interact with guests, and work near grills while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Gaucho/Meat Server/ Brazilian Steakhouse

Kal Group dba Rodizio Grill – Hamilton Place | Chattanooga, TN

Rodizio Grill is looking for dependable, energetic team members to join our FOH team as a Gaucho.

This is not a traditional cooking or serving position. Gauchos are responsible for carving and serving our signature rotisserie-grilled meats directly to guests throughout the dining room. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around a hot grill, handling and carving meats, staying active throughout the shift, and interacting professionally with guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry skewers of grilled meats throughout the dining room.
• Carve and serve meats tableside for guests.
• Communicate with guests regarding meat selections and preferred temperatures.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards.
• Keep grill and preparation areas clean and organized.
• Restock and prepare products for continued service.
• Work closely with fellow Gauchos, servers, kitchen staff, and managers to maintain smooth service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Carving cooked meat with a knife at guests' tables.
• Standing and walking for the majority of your shift.
• Repeatedly carrying large meat skewers throughout the dining room.
• Working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Following strict food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Previous grill, steakhouse, meat-cutting, churrasco, Brazilian steakhouse, or high-volume kitchen experience is strongly preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and the ability to learn quickly.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry approximately 40–50 pounds when necessary.
• Safely carry loaded meat skewers.
• Work around grills, heat, steam, and hot equipment.
• Bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Schedule:

Applicants should have Full-time Availability. Daytime, evening, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday availability is especially valuable for this position.
