Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Materials Data Clerk to support warehouse operations and data integrity. You will generate daily reports on shipments and receipts, and enter data in customer portals to ensure accuracy.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in customer service and data manipulation, with Excel and strong English skills; WMS experience is preferred. The role is on-site with ISO 9001 compliance responsibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Creates daily reports: shipments to customers, materials receipt, open POs, and variance reports.
• Compares materials data between company and customer systems.
• Performs data entry of receipts, shipments and inventory adjustments in customer portal.
• Tracks warehouse inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Communicates with customers and program managers via email/messaging regarding shipment data.
• Assists material handlers and moves materials as needed.
• Ensures ISO 9001 and other quality requirements in the department.

CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Materials Data Clerk.

Role and Responsibilities

• Creates various daily reports to include; reports of shipment to customer sites, materials receipt reports, open customer purchase order reports and variance reports
• Completes comparison of materials data from company system against customer system data
• Completes discrepancy screening of customer materials and contacts customer for closure
• Completes data entry of receipts, shipments and inventory adjustments in customer web portal
• Conducts warehouse inventory tracking using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Enters shipment pre-alerts from customers and vendors into WMS
• Completes quarantined materials purge requests from customers
• Communicates with company and customer contacts through written communication (email and messaging) including program managers and customer buyer/planners to answers questions regarding shipment and receipt information
• Assists material handlers and other personnel in the movement of materials
• Moves customer materials as needed systematically
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service and data manipulation; within a warehouse environment preferred
• Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferredMust be able to work in fast-paced team environment with general supervision
• Proficient English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
