Job summary

The Ryder Hotel in Charleston seeks a guest-focused team member to take orders and ensure accurate notes on allergies and special requests. You will help guests choose menu options and contribute to a warm, inviting dining experience.

• Ability to make informed menu recommendations based on knowledge of food & beverage options.
• Understanding of kitchen timing to deliver food and drinks promptly.

Requested Tasks

• Record guests’ orders; have a keen eye for detail for allergens, special requests and noted information
• Through understanding and knowledge of food and beverage menu options; able to adeptly make recommendations to guests
• Understanding of Kitchen timing; ability to stay organized and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner

Requested Capabilities

• Ability to create meaningful relationships with guests
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to carry food and drink trays
