Job summary

The Fontaine, A Kansas City Hotel, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, guest-centric setting. You will greet guests, guide menu selections, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and memorable moments.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year serving experience, strong English communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience
• Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately
