Job summary

The Fontaine, A Kansas City Hotel, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is hiring a Barista for its busy in-house coffee shop. You will craft espresso-based drinks, engage guests, take orders, and suggest options to enhance their experience.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow safety guidelines, handle cash, and contribute to a welcoming, fast-paced environment. Prior barista experience and knowledge of coffee brewing are preferred, with opportunities to learn new recipes and grow with

Qualifications

• Previous Barista or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with various beans and blends helpful.
• Excellent customer service skills in fast-paced environments.
• Attention to detail and clean, organized work area.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn new recipes and techniques.
• Prior cash handling experience.

• Create latte art and ensure each drink is beautifully presented.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee machines and equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of our coffee products.
• Upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.
