Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a hands-on Test Support Technician in Taylor, TX (may train in Georgetown) to test server hardware and verify system quality before shipment.

You will troubleshoot CPUs, memory, storage, and power supplies, using diagnostic tools and scripts to validate performance while ensuring safety and ESD procedures. This role supports production and engineering teams to improve processes and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting computer, server, or rack-mounted hardware.
• Basic command-line proficiency in Linux and/or Windows.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and test procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Collaborative approach and experience working in a manufacturing or lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair component-level issues involving CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, and other hardware.
• Use diagnostic tools, scripts, and software utilities to validate system performance.
• Document test results, report failures, and maintain accurate records.
• Follow ESD, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
• Apply knowledge of server architecture and hardware components to support troubleshooting.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
