Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group in Tysons, VA is seeking experienced servers who can guide guests through our scratch-made menu with hospitality, confidence, and service excellence.

As a Server, you will take orders, deliver food and drinks, check guest satisfaction, handle payments, and contribute to a clean, welcoming dining room while taking advantage of tips and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in full or quick service dining
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Capable of bending, stooping, reaching and repetitive motions

Responsibilities

• Take orders from guests for food and/or beverages
• Check guest satisfaction and correct issues
• Check IDs to ensure alcohol age requirements
• Enter orders into handheld devices for kitchen transmission
• Deliver food and drinks to tables from kitchen, pastry, and bar
• Bus tables and keep the dining area clean and inviting
• Process guest payments at the end of service
• Explain menu items and wine pairings to guests
• Prepare tables and setup dining areas for next shift or large parties
• Attend pre-shift meetings and stock service areas
