Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is hiring at Outback locations in California. As an Outbacker you provide friendly, prompt service, upsell where appropriate, and ensure guest satisfaction with accurate orders and timely delivery.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a $16.90/hour wage plus tips, health benefits eligibility under ACA rules, paid sick leave under California law, and opportunities for growth through training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• California-based positions require Responsible Beverage Service Certifications (training allowed).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt, attentive service guided by guest preferences.
• Know menu details, confidently recommend and upsell items.
• Prepare food/condiments per Outback standards and ensure accurate orders.
• Handle cash/credit transactions and support all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
