Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly Server to deliver food and drinks, greet guests, and create a memorable dining experience at Applebee’s locations. You’ll ensure smooth service, upsell menu items, and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include taking care of guests, relaying orders, handling payments, and helping with dining room upkeep. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others, grow, and learn.
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to wipe down surfaces and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets around the dining area about 30 times per shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds several times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and provide ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make menu recommendations.
• Interact with guests to maintain a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via POS system.
• Observe and fulfill guest needs or requests.
• Present checks and process payments, ensuring correct handling of tips and charges.
• Assist with clearing and resetting dining room tables.
