Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, a family-owned company with 50+ years in hospitality, is seeking a friendly Server to welcome guests at Applebee's neighborhood location. You will contribute to a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages and by offering attentive service in a fast-paced, family atmosphere.

As a Server, you greet guests, answer questions, suggest menu items, and work with kitchen and bar staff through a POS system.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to care for others and learn.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to wipe down surfaces and maintain clean dining areas.
• Able to transport items up to 25 pounds and move around the dining room.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and provide ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make food and drink recommendations.
• Interact with guests to create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to bar and kitchen via the POS system.
• Observe and respond to guests' needs or requests.
• Present guest checks and handle payment accurately.
• Assist in clearing and resetting dining tables.
