Job summary

Clarendale of Chandler is seeking a friendly Server to join our Culinary Team in a senior living community in Chandler, AZ. The role requires 1-3 years of serving experience in a country club, restaurant, or senior living setting, and a Food Handler's Card is preferred.

You will provide courteous service, maintain dining room standards, and support a welcoming hospitality experience for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school completed (16+).
• 1–3 years experience serving in country clubs, restaurants or senior living communities.
• Able to obtain or already possess a Food Handler's Card.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Serve customers with proper etiquette and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Set tables, take orders, provide service and assist with dish washing and resetting tables.

Who you are:

Job Summary:

• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.


• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.


• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.


• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.


• Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.


• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
